Guest_Jim_* Posted February 12, 2019 Posted February 12, 2019 With Year 4 starting soon for Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft has decided to make some changes to the game editions that are and will be available. For one thing, the current PC Starter Edition is going to be removed and replaced with a standard version called Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. This version will improve on the Start Edition as it uses the original base game rate for unlocking new Operators, which can save players up to 150 hours of play time. For those who already have the Start Edition, these changes will be granted to you with progression and content already unlocked carrying over as you are upgraded to this new standard edition. The premium editions of the game are also seeing changes, including price reductions. The new Deluxe Edition will come with the starting roster of the game's Operators and the eight from Year 1. The Fold Edition includes the Deluxe Content and the Year 4 Pass, granting instant and early VIP access to the eight operators for Year 4, along with 600 R6 credits, a 10% shop discount, and more. At the top is the Ultimate Edition, replacing the Complete Edition from before, with access to all DLC operators from Years 1, 2, and 3 that are currently available, and the Year 4 pass. From February 14 to 17 there will be a Free Weekend for the Rainbow Six Siege, and the game's editions will be on sale for up to 70% off as well.
