Earth Rising is the name of the four-part season pass that will cover the expansion of humanity into the galaxy. The first part, Aftermath, releases on December 11, while Part 2 will release this Winter, Part 3 in the Spring, and then Part 4 in the Summer. With this first part, humanity will be faced with the reality that not every alien race likes the idea of the human empire expanding. Some will seek to undermine Earth's ambitions while others will react to the successes of the human captain and primitive ship. While the Earth Rising expansion will be adding a great deal of content for those who have already completed the base game, it will also expand the Star Control universe for first-time players with new side quests, alien species, and ships to recruit.
