Guest_Jim_* Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 Deutsche Messe announced today that it has cancelled CEBIT 2019 and that in the future, CEBIT topics are going to be merged into a different event, Hannover Messe. While this does mean an end to the tradeshow, Deutsche Messe points out in its press release that CEBIT proved itself a success, in part because topics it represented, such as artificial intelligence, are now overarching tasks. It is that CEBIT is a horizontal tradeshow, but many companies have moved to more targeted events to grow their business. With declining visitor numbers and space bookings, it has reached its end, though the some CEBIT topics will be incorporated into Hannover Messe. Additionally some new CEBIT topics will be developed for special events targeting vertical industries and their decision makers.
