Guest_Jim_* Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 Today it was announced THQ Nordic will be acquiring both Bugbear Entertainment and Coffee Stain Studios. Bugbear developed Wreckfest, which released earlier this year for PC (console versions coming in 2019) and was published by THQ Nordic, and Coffee Stain is the developer behind the Sanctum series of games and Goat Simulator, and also has the publishing rights to Deep Rock Galactic. By acquiring Bugbear, THQ Nordic wants to support its growth as it continues to develop action racing games, but also take the first step into the Finnish market. This acquisition is being done by acquiring 90% of the shares in the company, with an option to purchase the remainder in the future.
