The color of the coolant factors into this and now EK Water Blocks has added another option to consumers with its EK-CryoFuel Solid coolants. There are seven colors to choose from and each coolant uses a formula designed to prevent sediments from collecting in a loop, potentially creating a clog. Naturally the coolants feature corrosion inhibitors and biocides to prevent biological growth from occurring. Unfortunately it should not be used with aluminum-based loops and EK advises they are not used with its EK Fluid Gaming lineup. The seven colors are Scarlet Red, Cloud White, Azure Blue, Electric Purple, Neon Green, Fire Orange, and Laguna Yellow, and some are UV reactive. They are available as concentrates and premixed, with the concentrates costing $14.99 for 250 mL and the premixes being $19.99 for 1000 mL.
