Hi, I’m learning java for the first time. I’ve got a MacBook. Trying to run Mobdro through Terminal wasn’t working. I found out I needed to download the JDK. I got java 9. But then I learnt NetBeans runs only through java 8.

I tried these, but they didn’t work to uninstall it. Nox

sudo rm -rf /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.8.0_131.jdk sudo rm -rf /Library/PreferencePanes/JavaControlPanel.prefPane sudo rm -rf /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin sudo rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Oracle/Java
They didn’t work though.
I found out I was supposed to run.
ls-l /usr/bin/java to find where java 9 has been installed.
And I got: lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 74 Sep 29 17:59 /usr/bin/java -> ShowBox /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/Current/Commands/java

Not sure what to do now to uninstall it, any help will be welcome. Thanks.
