bp9801 Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 Logitech announced yesterday the new G512 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, which includes a new mechanical gaming switch option, GX Blue. The keyboard includes three key switch choices: Tactile, Linear, and GX Blue. Logitech hopes this new feature will give more choices to gamers for how they play. The Tactile choice “provides discernable actuation for gamers who prefer direct feedback.” The Linear key switch is more smooth. The GX Blue produces a “click” sound on keystrokes, so you can both feel and hear the key as you are typing. There is also a new software being released with this, called “G Hub.” Logitech hopes to improve the interface and make it a better experience overall for its gaming customers. I think this is awesome, but perhaps a little over the top. But if you like your keyboard to make a clicking sound, then this keyboard is for you!
