CheeseMan42 Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 It was reported late last year that Verizon might be having some second thoughts about its acquisition of Yahoo after the latest hacking scandal compromised up to one billion Yahoo accounts. Verizon isn't looking to abandon the deal altogether, but is reported to be close to a new deal that would knock $250 million off the initial offer of $4.8 billion. As part of the new agreement, the two companies will share responsibility for any damages related to the hack rather than having Yahoo absorb the majority of the impact.
