Back when the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 and 1070 video cards were shown off, some other items were unveiled first. Things like the NVIDIA VR Funhouse game and Ansel, an in-game screenshot program to capture games in ways never before seen. Today we have some good news for both of them, as NVIDIA VR Funhouse is now available on Steam for free. It does require some impressive hardware, such as a GTX 980 Ti, 1060, or 1070 for low graphics, a GTX 1080 for medium, and a GTX 1080 with a dedicated PhysX card for high settings (or 980 Tis in SLI with a dedicated PhysX card). It's playable on the HTC Vive headset, giving you some fun carnival-style games to play and try out all the new NVIDIA graphics technology. Things like Hairworks, FleX, Destruction, and Flow are all included, as is VRWorks PhysX-based haptics for the ultimate in feedback. If you want to give the NVIDIA VR Funhouse a try and have one of the supported video cards, just head over to Steam and download it.

NVIDIA also has a new game that Ansel supports, as the recent Mirror's Edge Catalyst can now take advantage of the technology. All you need to do is download the new Game Ready Driver, 368.81, for it and you're ready to go. Now you can see Faith and the City of Glass like never before. Ansel lets you use a free camera to take pictures from any spot in the environment and display it all on your PC, smartphone, or VR headset. You can add post-process effects, capture images with the highest HDR settings possible, increase the resolution far above what you're playing at, and even take 360° panoramas. It's a good way to show off your artistic side and look at your games in a new light.

The Game Ready 368.81 Drivers support other VR games besides just NVIDIA VR Funhouse, as Everest VR, Obduction, Raw Data, and The Assembly are all optimized. You can download the new driver through GeForce.com or the GeForce Experience app.
