CheeseMan42 Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Valve has announced a significant increase to the prize pool for all upcoming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Major Championships, bumping the total from $250,000 to $1 million. The next Major is being hosted by Major League Gaming in Columbus, Ohio from March 29 to April 3. The tournament will feature 16 of the best CS:GO teams in the world, with the top eight finishers getting a piece of the prize pool. The winner will get $500,000, second place gets $150,000, $70,000 for third and fourth place, and $35,000 for the teams that round out the top eight.
