CheeseMan42 Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Activision is offering a multiplayer starter kit for Call of Duty: Black Ops III for a limited time, offering a reduced feature set at a reduced price. The kit is available on Steam until February 29 at a price of $14.99. Gamers will get access to "public ranked matches, as well as access features like the weapon paint shop, gunsmith, and arena," but won't "be able to play through the single-player campaign or the zombies mode, nor can you participate in custom multiplayer matches or access mods when they're eventually released." Activision is hoping that the available features will be enough to entice you to purchase the rest of the game with the price of the starter kit deducted from the full price of the base game.
