Pjordan757 Posted March 4, 2004 Posted March 4, 2004 Well, I am wondering If I even need water cooling if Im not going to overclock my 64-fx (yet) should the standard heatsink do untill I get water cooling?
bloodking Posted March 4, 2004 Posted March 4, 2004 (edited) the standard heatsink will do....it's designed to for the FX....but if you want to increase lifespan and decrease noise level i can recommend watercooling. also if you are THINKING of OC'ing the FX....get either a decent HSF or get some decent watercooling...it also depends on what you want to spend for it. you can get a Thermalright K8 heatsink for like 45 bucks (?)(check newegg) but WC can get you well over 200 bucks. in my opinion....get watercooling Edited March 4, 2004 by bloodking
