CheeseMan42 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 LG is hoping to break into the laptop market with the Gram Ultra PCs, a lightweight laptop powered by Windows 10. The Gram is meant to compete with similar systems including the Apple MacBook Air and Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro. The 14" screen is comparable to these competitors, but a "1080p IPS display is much better looking than the one on Apple's ageing Air." The name is derived from its sub-kilogram weight of 2.16 pounds, also a reduction compared to the Air, while the $899 starting price is competitive in the target market. The base specs on the Gram are rounded out with an Intel Core i5 CPU, 128GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM with upgrades to a Core i7 and 256GB available.
