CheeseMan42 Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Reports indicate that NVIDIA has received the first samples of its upcoming GP100 GPUs from Taiwan Semiconductor. NVIDIA has started to conduct internal testing and cards utilizing the new GPU are expected to hit the market in mid-2016. The GP100 GPU is based on the Pascal architecture with 16nm FinFET+ transistors. No further exact details are known but the GPU is expected to support up to 6000 stream processors and up to 32GB of HBM2 memory.
