Amazon Dash Buttons Modified With Custom Behavior

Ted Benson obtained an Amazon Dash button, a device that connects over Wi-Fi to order a specific item from Amazon at the push of a button, with the intention of ordering diapers for his baby. Benson discovered that the device goes to sleep until the button is pressed at which point it connects to the Internet to order your item. Benson was then able to insert some of his own code to track data in a Google Doc spreadsheet for "how often his (adorable) baby poops. Or how many times he wakes up in a night." The entire process and example code is detailed at the links below if you are interested in re-purposing your device as well.
