Dishonored 2 Appears Out of the Fog at E3 2015; Launches Next Spring for PC, PS4, and XBO

One of the surprises during Bethesda's E3 Press Conference, if you haven't paid attention to any leaks, was Dishonored 2. Arkane Studios' sequel to the smash hit of 2012, Dishonored 2 takes us to the coastal city of Karnaca, where a new wave of corruption needs to be cleansed. The game is set 15 years after events in the first game, and you can play as either Corvo Attano or new assassin Emily Kaldwin. Both assassins have their own set of abilities, weapons, and tools to carry out their missions, and it will be intersting to see how different they play as. Emily's powers look to be quite different from Corvo's, as she has this almost liquid-like power called Far Reach to pull herself along instead of Blink. Her movements and weapons are both different from Corvo's, too, with a crossbow and unique assassination animations. She looks like the Assassin Empress she is, while Corvo has his military dubs. Oh, and whichever assassin you pick is who you play the entire game as, so at least two playthroughs is a must.

Along with Dishonored 2, Bethesda and Arkane showed off Dishonored: Definitive Edition, a remastered version of the game for current-gen systems (PS4 and XBO only, sadly). The graphics have been tweaked in the Definitive Edition, and all the DLC is also included, so this is the one to get if you have yet to play the original Dishonored. Dishonored 2 arrives Spring 2016 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, while the Dishonored: Definitive Edition is coming this August.
