gebraset Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 AMD is still expected to launch its upcoming Radeon R9 390X, which offers some excellent performance according to early benchmarks, at Computex 2015. Industry sources familiar with the matter have noted that while the card may launch on time, it may be subject to inventory issues, which would hinder sales of the card substantially. The limited supply of the AMD Radeon R9 390X may come as a result of some hurdles with yields on HBM, which would cause the card to feature limited availability for the remainder of the calendar year. With the recent news of AMD posting a $180 million first quarter loss and the company only accounting for 24 percent of the GPU market, investors and consumers alike can only hope that the Radeon R9 390X features a problem-free launch.
