Shadowtroop Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 i doubt it. itdoes 1920x1080. its even the recommended on both my cards and by windows, as far as the refresh rate, would that matter? mine does 60Hz just fine but it is "120 Hz"
Shurman292 Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Did you try a clean install of your graphics drivers? Possibly try one of the older driver packages if the newest version doesn't work.
Shadowtroop Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 I had an ATI before this, so i uninstaled and used driver sweeper, i got whatever was the latest and greatest at the time, (late november). I also got an SSD on black friday so i decided to do a clean install. different drivers, same issue
bigball1 Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 This is new to me. I have never hurd of this problem. I do have a ATI card in my HTPC and it works like your old card did. I can turn the system on and have the input not on PC, change inputs, and it will still show up with the right settings. Or leave the pc on change inputs to the TV. Then come back to the pc. I have not tested a nVidia card doing this. Its like the EDID info is not getting sent back to the PC when you change inputs on the TV. So your using the same cables right? Shadowtroop Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Yep, same everythig, basically just changed out cards and reconnected. this is why its so odd to me. based on the amount of people that use TVs as monitors and the popularity of Nvidia cards, i feel like i might have a bad setting in my cad or something.
