mattrock Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Alright so. I just bought a new crucial m4 SSD and i've been using a western digital 500gig for awhile now. I installed windows on the new ssd and starting putting some programs over from the hdd. I'm trying to figure out...can I make it so that I can load programs off my HDD while using my ssd as my primary drive? I just want to use the HDD as storage for videos music misc programs etc... my gaming and windows are on the SSD now. So basically i'd like to be able to load off the HDD right now it won't let me i'm guessing i have to merge the two some how or mount them but i'm not sure what would be the best way to do so. bigball1 Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 You cant copy or run already installed program on a different drive. You will have to reinstall all your programs but you just choose a different location instead of your SSD (C Drive) when you do install them.
