Your links are broke so I will just go off the names you posted with your links (glad you did that by the way).

the software i usually use are 3dstudio max(animation and modeling) adobe Photoshop, premier, after effects. mostly personal projects building portfolio hoping for a job in the future

  • intel 2600k
  • COOLER MASTER Ventirad Hyper 212 EVO
  • GTX 680 (if you can afford it - cut out the SSD if you have to)

graphics card GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 580 Super Overclock - 1,5 GΒ GDDR5

SAPPHIRE TECHNOLOGY Radeon HD 7950 OC - 3 GB GDDR5

  • ram 16gb CORSAIR Vengeance Performance 2 x 4 GΒ DDR3-1600 - PC3-12800 - CL9 (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9) ...you want at least 16GB
  • ASUS P8Z68-V Pro / Gen 3 - Socket 1155 - Chipset Z68 - ATX
  • CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 - 750 W (CMPSU-750TXV2EU) or 650w ...either with work tbh, if you want a second graphics card, get 850W
  • SAMSUNG SSD 128 ...should be ok, but there are better. I would rather get a GTX 680 than an SSD at this point
  • SEAGATE Barracuda 7200.14 ST2000DM001 3,5" - 2 TΒ
  • COOLER MASTER HAF 912 Plus

I like the majority of your build, but my tweaks are above. Photoshop LOVES RAM. As in wants consume as much RAM as zombies want to consume brains. Might even be worth it to spend extra on the 2x8GB kits. Currently in America the price premium for 2x8GB kits aren't too bad. Not sure what it is like Europe and being a little too lazy right now to check. :P

Typically for 3D Rendering you want a workstation graphics card but this is going to be a dual function PC for you, so in that case I think it would be worth to spend the extra for a GTX 680. I love my SSD I really do but the first thing I would drop is the SSD to compensate for the price.

I agree with Fogel you should think about getting 2x8GB kits, the difference will be immense. Also if you've really got your heart set on an SSD you don't need anything really bigger than 120GB at this point. Put the OS and other frequently used programs on it. Mushkin has a really nice one with a SandForce SATA II for $120 USD.

thanks guys i changed my card to a gigabyte 680gtx

as for ram i was thinking about going 4 x 4gb than 2 x 8gb since i already order 2 x 4 gb of ram.I know 2 X 8gb it would have been better but is it really such a big difference

not really, no - It'll still be dual channel and if your mobo has the slots, then you're fine. The only reason to get 2x8 imo is if you want to place more ram later on since they only take up 2 ram slots instead of 4.

regarding your choice of the GTX 680 -- great choice and since it has such low power consumption you can go for the 650 PSU-- it can even handle OC'ing well--(I've the same PSU and my 470 OC and my i7 920 which is also OC'ed are quite the power hogs yet I'm fine and well within that 80% consumption range) . I try to convince people to get the HX modular version of this PSU if they can spare the money. It's just so much easier and more organized to put everything together. If however you plan on getting an extra 680 in the future for SLI then i suggest you get a 850 watt PSU - this will also leave you room for OC'ing both cards and a little extra room for a raid setup.

If you are doing professional 3dsMax work then I suggest you go for a work station build , though that's just insanely expensive. The setup is called nVidia Maximus and it's comprised of 1 Tesla Card and a Quadro card. Check it out on their site if you're interested

Good luck

no, it is exactly like Rofltroll said... only so you would have open DIMM slots in case you need more memory down the line. If you already bought the 2x4gb that is fine. :)
