Ah, welcome to the world of sleep and overclocking on the x58 :)

On my old Asus P6TD Deluxe and even this newer MSI Big Bang sleep function has been hit and miss. But Boinker offers solid suggestions on C1E and Speedstep. If it makes any difference C1E and Speedstep have both worked fine for me even when overclocking on the x58. Just getting the sleep function to work as intended after I've monkeyed around in the BIOS is the trickery.

Maybe moving the phase control from Auto to High or Extreme is part of the problem? Don't know for sure, just throwing that out there.

Just thought i would mention. Not sure what did it. I never did actually change any settings. But the PC started sleeping without issue. Im not gonna look into it too much. If it wants to work, i will let it. The only thing i can attribute it to would be a Windows update that happened the other night. My best guess. Thanks again for everyone's tips! Computer is running stable at 4.18GHz with no crashes or anything.
