Blarzor Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Hey guys I have problem with my GA-EX58-UD4P motherboard downclocking my 1866 mhz ram to 1066 mhz. I don't have much experience in overclocking. Is there any easy way to get ram to it's native speed? Blarzor Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Problem is that I don't have much experience in overclocking, so any help would be great. I only know basic overclocking. Just setting my ram speed to 1866 mhz by increasing multiplier to 12 freezes my computer. I'm sorry, I admit that I'm a noob, so I would need a more experienced help. Krieg1337 Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Make sure your Uncore is at least twice the ram speed (so it should be something like 3722 or so)
Blarzor Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 So what should I do? Set RAM multiplier from 8 to 12 and set uncore to 3732? How is uncore actually called in bios?
Krieg1337 Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Yeah, and it should just be called CPU uncore. http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=7528&mpage=1 Here is something based on the EVGA motherboard, but I think the basic stuff should be the same
