ThInK192 Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 As I OC my system further I feel my air cooling is reaching its limits. I have been putting together water systems but can't seem to find one that cost less than $150. I have seen mixed reviews about the Corsair H80 and was hoping to get some clarity. How does the H80 perform when the room temp is 90F or higher? Can I expect leaks with in the first year? Is the H60 or H70 just a good as H80? What are the fan limits of the H80 unit? Any info would be appreciated. 1101001, ThInK192
ccokeman Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Anything in a 90F room is going to present some serious challenges with an ambient that high
VaporX Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 The system SHOULD be able to keep a processor cool enough to run but I would NOT risk overclocking a system in that klind of environment. I did a build early in my shows history for a system that could run on air cooling in a 90F temped room. We used an Antec 900 case and a Zalman cooler on a Core2 Quad and was able to run under full gaming load okay.
