I'm curious as if there's anything out there, cheap and preferably doesn't stain, that can thicken the water color so it would be easier to see the level. Not really a necessity, I know it's really not that hard to see the level if I wanted, just curious on if there's something that makes it more noticeable.

 

 

I havent had a lot of issues with staining but when I change a system I generally replace the tubing.. the res's clean up pretty well and I cant say i've tried to clean the tubing up as I generally just replace it. I also dont change the color im using in the system so wouldn't notice much anyway.

 

Now that I think of it i've only used Feser dye's.. (I have Red in 2 systems and Green in another, my 4th wc'ed system is clear/undyed though it does have red tubing)
