jdhatt Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 can anyone predict how these would work on the prolimatech? http://ncix.com/products/?sku=54914&vpn=FN-FW12BPL-18&manufacture=Gelid%20Solutions%20Ltd%2E got my eye on them, i heard they work quite well and they would look so sweet in my case with the right cathodes. i just dunno how they will hold up on the prolimatech :s
Waco Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 They are decent fans so I doubt you'd have any problems.

As long as the fan isn't junk there's no real difference. High static pressure is nice for heatsinks with dense fins and you can always use a fan controller on loud fans to keep them quiet. XeoNoX Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 I've used all three. Ranked from best to worst: Noctua NH-D14 Prolimatech Megahalems Rev. B CM Hyper 212+ The Megahalems and Hyper 212+ can really shine if you put Noctua NF-D12 fans on them. They will perform just slightly below the Noctua NH-D14. The fans and a push/pull config matters quite a bit. Its been benchmarked that the Megahalems outperomrs (cools better) than the Noctua NH-D14 when using the SAME FANS in a push/pull config at both IDLE and LOAD.
