Question about memory readings and overclocking

I have AIDA64 (formerly know as everest) and under the overclock section under chipset properties I see the following information

 

Memory Timings 9-9-9-24 (CL-RCD-RP-RAS)

I was wondering what the values for each of the individual stick actually mean, my memory is rated at 1600mhz with timings of 9-9-9-24 however my motherboard ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO only supports 1600 overclocked, I feel like my memory is causing my instability issues with overclocking my AMD Phenom II X4 BE 955 as i cant make it over 3.5ghz-3.6ghz stable even with increasing voltages which bothers me considering many people have made it to a stable 3.8ghz on stock voltages

 

My system specs are as follows:

Processor-AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition

Motherboard-ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO AM3

Ram-A-DATA 4 x 2GB DDR3 1600

Power Supply-500W Power Supply

Hard drive-Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5

Video Card-SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6950(Flashed to 6970)

Currently on air cooling with-Tuniq CR-T120-EX-SV 120mm

Windows 7 x64

Those should be the timing specs as they are mandated by the JEDEC specification. But the first and the last are out of whack.

 

The first timing should be JEDEC 1333 and should read @ 666Mhz

The second timing is correct - JEDEC 1066 which reads correctly @ 533Mhz

The third timing should be JEDEC 800 and should read @ 800Mhz

 

Have you ran Memtest to confirm that your memory is the culprit?

So if I was to run the memory at each of those speeds those are the associated timings I would run the memory at?

 

I just ran Memtest and everything ran smoothly and passed with no errors so i guess the memory is not the culprit. I've simply been increasing the CPU multiplier leaving the reference clock at 200mhz but after x18 the system crashes within a minute of prime, I've tried increasing the voltages up to 1.45 but with no luck, i also tried upping the NB to 2200mhz. This is my first true rig and first time overclocking as well so i am a bit of a noob, however I have done my best to look around and read a few articles to get a general knowledge.

The memory timings associated with the reported buss speed would be a good place to start.

 

Regarding your crashes now - have you bumped the northbridge voltage yet? If not what is the current northbridge voltage and what range of adjustments are available?
