imMune Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 hey everyone, I have a bit of a problem with windows 7 64bit and need some help. For some reason, when i try and log in today, it shows the welcome screen and then says preparing your desktop. After that it hangs for a little bit and then shows up the desktop that appears when you first install windows, so all my stuff was gone. I have tried reseting the computer and nothing happened. Also, I haven't put any new graphic drivers, I checked to make sure i don't have a virus, and everything was perfect yesterday. Im thinking it may be my hard drive failing, because i still use an old IDE drive lol. So anyway I would appreciate any help/advice you guys can give me.
