iskout Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 pitbull... you didn't read the instructions on how to mount your waterblock. I didn't either, my first time. With the Apogee XT, it actually matters. Here's the problem

Speedway Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 im running about... 23C idle, and 41C max @ stock? Not 2 shabby! Looking forward to some OC load temps! Do you use LinX or Prime?
Pitbull3 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 no... not stock, @ 4.22 ghz, with realtemp gt and hwmonitor + prime
Speedway Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 (edited) no... not stock, @ 4.22 ghz, with realtemp gt and hwmonitor + prime 95 Something has to be off here! No way on load you are seeing 41C OC at 4.22GHz. WC or not it just isn't possible on an i7 to see load OC temps that low. Might want to check you temp software, maybe a restart? Pitbull3 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 or do you think, its just not reading correctly?
Speedway Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 (edited) The 110cfm slip streams help, but no way they help that much Yea something is not reading correctly. With an i7 it just isn't very likely on a water setup w/o a chiller to hit OCed load temps that low (41C) after running Prime for any length of time. The AMD PII's can hit those temps OCed on water Edited January 15, 2011 by SpeedwayNative
