Mikogekz Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Hey Guys Just a quick question on reasonable temperatures for a GTX 280 SLI setup. I've noticed my setup hitting the low 90's (both GTX 280's are right next to each other) and have experienced a couple of BSOD's relating to the video memory. Do you think the BSOD would be temperature related or are there any other possible problems? I have 3 120mm intake fans in the front of the case and have recently blown out any dust with compressed air, cable management is also neat. Is this sufficient air flow or should i consider extra fans blowing directly on the cards? Specs are below. Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W PSU intel core i7 920 @ stock 6Gb G.Skill 2000Mhz gigabyte X58-UD5 2 1Tb samsung HDD in RAID 0 2 XFX GTX 280's in SLI Any ideas or help would be great
joel.monteiro Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 If every thing is on stock settings, then it not because of temperature.
Mikogekz Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Ok, thanks mate, I decided to grab an extra fan to blow directly onto the graphics anyway. I'll let you know if any more BSOD's occur, haven't had one since I made the last post.
