Kejiua Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 I was wondering why I can not reach 222 fsb with my motherboard (asus rampage 2 gene) i'm watercooled and the max I can reach with my core i7 920 are 4585.4mhz really good but I want more is that possible that my memory block me because it's ddr3 1333 or just my motherboard become to hot? joel.monteiro Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Well,if u wanted to oc ,so much u should gotten 1600mhz rams they would have given more head room,if ur mobos mos fits and north bridge are not water cooled then it might be overheating,unless u have a high end mobo like gigabyte x58-ud7 or ud5 .
