Swervin Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 fairly new to all this but however, it could be heat related, that would be the 1st thing that come to mind, I was playing around with overclocking my Intel P4 3.06ghz with stock heatsink and fan, it wouldn't get pass the the loading of windows before it crashed, brought the clocked speed down a bit and it booted up fine but when it got hot again after a little bit of use, it crashed. Thats as far as my experience have gone. Yet to really play around with my i7 930 tho...
Locutus Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 OP isn't very detailed in the problem. There's two things I can think of, either you didn't raise the voltage at all, or the CPU is overheating. If it's overheating you need to get a better heatsink or lower the voltage/frequency. If you didn't touch the voltage at all, this can easily be fixed.
