Im looking to over clock my amd 955 be and im also looking for a new c

hey guys im posting in here again cause you have been such good help im trying to over clock my amd 955 be as much as is possible. while being safe with only air cooling. i currently use a duorb cpu cooler by thermaltake and am looking for a new cooler to keep up with my cpus new temps. please feel free to leave any suggestions on either topic thanks guys.ohh and ladies if there are any helping me

But seriously... try the 212 Hyper Plus by Cooler Master or the CNPS 9900 by Zalman. Pretty sure someone is selling one of those in the Marketplace section of the forums :)

Sometimes people use the term guys to loosely, I prefer you all or if your from the south Y'all.

 

Might I recommend the Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer, OCZ did a review of it a while back and it did just as well as coolers that cost almost 2x as much. At stock temps kept the Core 2 Quad within 7 degrees of the TRUE and when overclocked kept right up with it. It is kinda tricky to mount though, its easier to mount with the motherboard outside the case on a hard flat surface. 99% of the negative reviews that cooler received on newegg were from people who didn't get the mail in rebate, I never knew that you could actually get those as I have never received a mail in rebate for anything I have ever purchased ever.
