ricohouse Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 I recently built my new rig and was a little unsure how the TINY stock heatsink on my i5 750 would hold up. I was easily breaking 75c after a couple of minutes at 100% in prime95 and I didn't leave it running for very long because of this. I want to OC in the near future so if you guys and gals could suggest some different cooling options that would allow me to get close to 4ghz that would be great! I'm not looking to spend heaps but I'll spend what's needed. Thanks!
joel.monteiro Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 the Noctua NH-D14 is the best air cooler,i think its 75$ and i in India its 5100 Rs its not that expensive but not that cheap also, but with all the reviews ive read about this cooler its worth all that money u should be able the reach 3.8-4ghz if u use this cooler and u should also have a good mobo to reach those clock speeds.
