usaweapon777 Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 sure give it a shot. the 4870x2 should downsize the memory on each core to 512. How that will affect performance i'm not sure play some games with it and see if you get more of an improvement with the extra card and less memory since with 3 cards you'll still have 1.5g of gpu ram i would think it should still work fine.
