I haven't built anything since like 04' so I don't know what the average/safe temperatures are these days. So with the following parts, and maybe overclocking my CPU a bit (a little over 3Ghz for now, until I get used to the system). What kind of temps? ASUS Rampage II Extreme i7-920 Corsair Dominator 6GB 2 HDD's - Raptor and 640GB Two 5770's in Crossfire Corsair HX850W The heatsink I will be using is the XIGMATEK Dark-Knight. Thanks for helping me out. The i7's can run pretty hot. I would try to keep it under 60c at load for daily use, though others have ran theirs hotter.
