JJDARK21 Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 (edited) ok i have some questions about ram i have a dfi ut x58 core i7 965 extreme edition and 6 gb 1333 mhz i want to upgrade to 1600 mhz so my question ive read alot about setting the ram so far i know i have to change the dram bus voltage to 1.65 volts and put my memory timings is there another thing i have to touch to put my new ram to 1600 when i buy it ive heard about changing the memory multiplier and to raise the qpi voltage for stability? any guide to set your ram? or any of you guys tell me the steps to do it besides puting the dram bus voltage and the timings manually. thanks o and i forgot i have oc to my i7 at 3.7 ghz thats my main reason i want new ram Edited October 19, 2009 by JJDARK21 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
