hahajung Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 well first off, is it even possible? I have Socket F and i don't think this cooling system will fit on my mobo. i have two barcelona quads running and one is under arctic cooling xtreme while the other cpu is under stock fan. the stock fan has been making a lot of noise and i want to get rid of it lol. so i thought a self contained systems like domino alc would be a good choice?(low cost and efficient) only problem being that it wont fit... thanks for any advice! _TheAlexO Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 I dont believe they supply a mounting kit for socket F. you could call or email them and ask if they have any. thats what i had to do with my Corsair H50.
hardnrg Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Socket F should be compatible with heatsinks/blocks for Socket 939/940, but there are no adapters for the CoolIT products for 939/940... so I'd just get another decent heatsink unless your Socket F board uses the 4-point AM2+ style mounting: http://www.coolitsystems.com/index.php/amd...ntion-mech.html
