Baulten Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 A few things: 1.) Wrong forum. This should be over in "overclocking and cooling". 2.) That's a very nice OC on a 940. 3.) Why are you overclocking via bus, rather than multiplier?
woppy101 Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 is it not not better if you overclock via the bus
XxHellxRaizerxX Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 (edited) is it not not better if you overclock via the bus it really depends. But in your case you may be running into a FSB wall due to the NB and not the CPU. Try taking the FSB back to stock and overclocking via the multiplier. Then you can tweak it higher by using small increments of the bus to get the highest possible clock. Edit: btw, how come Core Temps shows your temperature and not mine? And your's shows a core for speedfan <_< Edited May 25, 2009 by XxHellxRaizerxX
