Q9550 and memory voltage help

Hi everyone, i've been away for a while so i'm a bit out of touch with the new tech but i'm trying to get my head round em. I've just the other day made a new machine and I wanna start OCing it straight away.

I've got the Q9550 @ standard and haven't tried to clock it higher yet, so it's still fresh @1333mhz. My mobo is EVGA123-YW-E175 NF750i and I choose that mobo because it had good reviews for OCing.

Currently all the CPU and Memory Volts are as follows:

CPU CORE: 1.18750v

CPU FSB: 1.1v

Memory: 1.900v

nForce SPP: 1.40v

NF200: 1.20v

and all these settings are on "auto" so that's what the mobo defaults them at, as you already know. I just basically wanna know a safe clocking speed for everything and what people with a similar rig have been able to accomplish.

Any help would be great, my rig is in my sig so tell me what you think I need to do to get a nice stable setup, also I have the cpu and mem as "unlinked"

Thanx guys :)

If memory serves me right, I think you can go up to 1.38-ish on the the vcore and be safe, given proper cooling. Memory can go up to 2.1v but its usually best to stick with the manufacturer's spec... the rest you can probably safely max out, assuming two things- 1) they have max settings, and 2) you again have proper cooling. As far as safe speeds go, "safe" more refers to how hot the chip runs than it does to how fast it runs, so you'll know you're reaching unsafe levels when you see your temp monitoring program tell you you're in the 70s in the cores. On air cooling, I have seen people post 4GHz-ish speeds, the norm is a bit lower than that I think. Look in the sticky in this forum though and you'll see a lot of posted results for your chip. Good luck!
