PuterDude Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Hi everyone... How do I find out if my HP a1640n can be overclocked? Thank you, John
Verran Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 If it's a pre-built computer, the answer is probably that it can't. If you want to know for sure, just reboot and get into the BIOS by hitting the pertinent key. On pre-builts, it's often F1 or F2. On most of our boards it's Delete. Just watch for the prompt and it'll tell you. Once in the BIOS, if you have the ability to change FSB and voltage settings, then you can overclock.
