Kingfisher Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 There is a sticky of how to overclock you can look over that can give you guidance. One thing I learned through the years is that each set of hardware clocks different. Sorry I can't be more specific unless of course I was sitting in front of your PC in question. Read up and take your time. Its a long process to master overclocking. Good luck.
Verran Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 As Kingfisher said, generalizations are about the best you're going to find. If you're looking for a guide that says "Do this, this, and this and now you're overclocked!", it's not going to happen. Each cpu, motherboard, memory stick, etc will overclock differently. What works for one person may not work for you. That's why you have to do it the hard way and find out for yourself what yours will do. Royalfork Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Read, Read Read and Read some more........Then start out slow with a decent overclock guide. Make sure to understand the relationships of all of the components and monitor your temps. Look in the Overclock section for the sticky guide....Good luck.
