unsimon Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Hi All !!! First time I post into a Overclocking Forum because I really need help. My setup is : AsusM3A78-CM AMD Phenom X4 9600 BE, 4x1 gb Corsair Dominator pc2-8500 1066mhz 5-5-5-15, Artic Freezer 64, PSU Silverstone Strider 600W, ATI 3870 512mb ddr3. When I'm doing overclock from the Bios with the multiplier at 12X, AMD overdrive mention me that I've a CPU at 2,5 and the three others at 2,4. If I'm overclocking from AMD Overdrive software, and I put the multiplier at 12X the four processor are correct. Now, when I'm trying to push at 12.5X the computer freeze. Is there anyone that have maybe an answer for me ? Thank You !!!

unsimon Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Ill try to be more explicit...English's not my first language sorry if I'm not clear I'm trying to OC my CPU.In the Bios I put the multiplier at 12x to get an OC of 2,4mhz. With AMD Overdrive software, it shows 2,5mhz for cpu0, and 2,4 for the three other cpu. What can cause this problem.
Guest ajmatson Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Go by what your BIOS says. Software can be buggy. Can you post a screen shot of the AMD overdrive showing the problem?
