Cause in my house 8 PCs are connected, and if I want to monitor the bandwidth, its not really an option to install it on all of them, then tally it up. I don't have 8 but I have the same problem. Best thing for people on a network with multiple PC's is to use a PC based router running something like IPCOP which has a bandwidth monitor plugin that can be installed to monitor bandwidth for the whole network.
