everydayking Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Hi there..this is my first posting...so hello to all and I apologize now for my lack of knowledge..though I am working to increase my knowledge base... I recently purchased a Hewlett Packard d5100t...which came with a 460 Watt Power supply. 6 Gigs of Ram, X-Fi Titanium card...750 gig hard drive...Q-9550...2.83 Gig Quad Core processor. Here, shortly, I will be replacing the graphics card with a XFX 260 Black Edition...and I am pretty sure I will need to replace the power supply. I purchased an Apevia Iceberg 680 Watt power supply.... However...from what I have read I have found that Apevia is junk and I should be ashamed for even purchasing the item in the first place. So...I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations or thoughts for me... ...I would truly appreciate that.
paulktreg Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Have a look here at the Corsair TX750W. OK it's a bit over the top but the price/performance ratio is hard to beat. Plenty of juice if you want to go SLI. Cheers Paul
