In9 32x-max & Gskill Pc8500 C5

Hi guys, I'm kinda new to overclocking and just bought some pc 8500 for my Abit In9 32x-max.

It took me all day yesterday to work with this memory, and I really didn't acomplish anything. It was habitualy unstable at various speeds. 800 4-4-4-12, 1066 5-5-5-15 even 7-7-7-20 (all at 2T).

But today on lunch in about 30 mins I managed to get a decent clock on the memory, but with a lower clock on the cpu. Memtest ran for about 30 mins about 50%pass.

What should I try to allow for more fsb?

OK. But really would it be safe to push the nb further?

I did just put a 40x40x10 fan on it yesterday, but 1.55 would be max and only 0.05 more...

Also in my situation Fsb v is called HT v not vvt right? ( vvt is for q cores?)

What Ram voltage should I max? I just put a ram cooler with 2 40x40 fans....

Also i have a Antec 900 with like 4 120's, 1 210. (fans)

If you're not sure what some options in the BIOS are for, refer to your motherboard user's manual, you will find an explanation for every setting. :)

And the RAM voltage will depend from the one you've got. Some require higher stock voltages than others. It should be written probably on a sticker on the RAM sticks.

I raised the CpuVVT voltage to 1.4

It added alot of visual stability, Windows loaded startups 4x faster.

Right now I'm at 3.2 Stable, Vcore: 1.38

I tried Raising the Vcore to 1.4 and The ram 0.1+ to 2.2, but it wouldnt boot windows.

Time to loosen latencys?
