kollapse Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Hi, I recently installed the 180 Forceware and so the fan control of some programs got disabled. So I switched from SmartDoctor (Asus) to RivaTuner. But while testing the fan at 100% I got very high temps. I switched back to the 178 version of the driver and the temps remained high. I am overcloking my Asus 9800 GTX to 775C 2000S 2400M (2x1200) I am getting 54C in idle, 75C in maxxed out Crysis Warhead and an alarming 86C in FurMark's Stability Test. The display driver crashes at the 86C temp in FurMark. Anything I should be worried about? Suggest going back to normal clocks ? (that would suck). If it crashes then lower the clocks and rerun the benchmarks(do this untill it doesn't crash so you can be sure you have a stable OC.) This should also result in lower Temps.
