What Does Each Of These Temps Represent?

On HWMonitor my processor (shown as TMPIN2) seems to be drastically higher than my cores. Could this be a misread probe or is it normal to have this type of discrepancy. I have a Sunbeam Core-Contact cooler HSF and an AMD Athlon 64X2 5200+ (2700mhz). It idles at a modest 36/39 or so and with Orthos hits about 50 for each core. yet TMPIN2 is 63, what the heck?.
