killSwitch Posted December 14, 2003 Posted December 14, 2003 I just bought a athlon xp 3000+ and an asus a7n8x deluxe motherboard. I don't know if i configured the motherboard right so if anyone can help please do... I would like to know the multiplier settings and the cpu freq settings. thanks
ErikG Posted December 18, 2003 Posted December 18, 2003 Well you didn't mention what 3000+ you bought, was it the 333MHz fsb or 400MHz...in any case ill give you multiplyers for both. AMD xp3000+ 333MHz fsb = 166 x 13 = 2.16GHz AMD xp3000+ 400MHz fsb = 200 x 10 = 2.0GHz Erik.

InvaderTrax Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 I would like to say that, if it's the 400MHz FSB version, to up the multiplier to 11. That's still really low, and gives you a 200MHz boost. It would probably be stable with stock 1.65 Vcore (mine is)
Xtreme21 Posted December 20, 2003 Posted December 20, 2003 LOL why are you asking us its your CPU, lol i dont know anywayz im just bored
captor Posted December 22, 2003 Posted December 22, 2003 i got the same combo kill, it runs stable @ 200x12 with a t11. I'm going for 2.6 when I get my water setup.
Paranoid Posted December 23, 2003 Posted December 23, 2003 I had my 2600+ @ 12x200 until this morning when I had to lower the voltage because it was overheating. When I get my Tornado, I'm going to put it right back up.
