momoceio Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I tried with put my rad in a tanked of boiled hot water for like 15 mins. It helps a bit. However, the result is still not satisfied. Are you dipping the whole radiator in a pot of hot water? We're saying to just boil some water and pour it into the inlet, cap it, shake it around, drain and rinse. White_Hair Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 i tried both. However, i really didn't see much improvement. I bought some wax cleaner and I am going to try it out and see how it goes.

If it really is a sort of wax you might try flushing it with alcohol as well.
