I'll be picking up the ever-so sexy Swiftech H20-220 Compact next week, and I've three mounting configurations to consider, one of which I'm not too sure of...

1. Exterior mounting - slot the tubing through the available PCI bracket

2. Exterior mounting 2 - Cut two 3/8" holes and slot the tubing through.

3. Mount the radiator inside the case on top of the 2x 120mm grille.

The latter is what I'm unsure of, I've taken physical measurements of the grille, and it seems to be capable of accommodating the radiator, but I just want to be 100% certain as I'll be modifying the thing in time, adding an additional loop for the chipset and the two 3870s.

Although I might just buy the H20-120 and another pump, reservoir and tubing.

That's beside the case at the moment, looking for a little reasserting factor here. :)

There's where I'm considering mounting it, not the door where all the fans are mounted, but the grille right under the GTX.

I would have taken a picture of my own, but I broke the...er...the camera broke. :tooth:

if you mount it on the bottom, is there sufficient space under the case to allow for decent airflow through the rad?

If I mount the wheels, absolutely.

1 and 2 are good options, but personally, i am a fan of keeping it inside the case if you can.

Either way, all three options should work well for you. How obtrusive do you want it to be?

This is the kit with the pump/waterblock? it can be a really clean install, it isn't like there is going to be tubing everywhere.

Well, like you said, there won't be wires all over the place, but I'm not looking to hide it beyond any viewing angle.

I just want it to be as neat as possible.
